Do the Reuse Challenge: Water Bottles

474 People Have Accepted This Challenge!

Ready to ditch disposable water bottles? Here are some handy Challenge DIY tips & tricks to get you doing the reuse in no time.

Rally the troops. Enlist one of the kids to be responsible for filling everyone’s water bottle at night, or ask them to help you remember your reusable when you leave the house. (They’ll love catching you if you forget.)

One for the road. Keep an extra reusable in your car so you’re never suddenly parched without a water bottle.

Mix it up. Mix powders or tablets into your water to make a cheaper, reusable version of your favorite flavored water or sport drink. (You can also fill reusable bottles with juice for the little ones instead of buying individual juice boxes.)

A sip here and there. If no disposables for a month seems impossible, commit to reusing for a week or two instead. See how easy or challenging it is and up the ante as you go.

Love your bottle. Don’t settle for a so-so water bottle. Find one that makes you happy to use every day, because if you love it, you’ll use it.
