Hi all-
Such a nutty week that this was my first chance to sit down and write. Overall a great week, but very happy that it's Friday. Used my reusable water bottle all week, but must admit that I did break the rules a few days ago at the mall. Oopsies. I didn't bring the water bottle with me, and had to buy a water bottle at lunch. Worse part of all was that there was no where to recycle. :( I guess making it 24 days is an accomplishment though. Next week... no slip ups!!!

Hi all-
Another sunny weekend in Philadelphia! The family took a few outings to the park (along with the Aladdin product as usual), and I got to go for a few nice long runs while Darby was napping! So far so good on the "not using plastic bottles" front. I've been bringing my 2 Aladdin bottles (one for water and one for coffee) to work everyday with me. Now they just need to make one for my wine drinking at night, can you guys make that happen?? :)

Hey all!
We had a great Labor Day weekend. We made sure to take the Aladdin product everywhere we could. The weather was gorgeous, so we took Darby to the zoo. We packed our snacks in the lunch box that was provided and everything fit perfectly! Rather than the usual water bottles Bill and I would have carried, we used our new fav reusable water bottles!! Sunday morning Darby and I woke up, made green smoothies, and drank them out of the reusable cup with the straw....she LOVED it! Attached is an image of me enjoying my morning coffee at the Urban Outfitters Headquarters :)

Getting 64 oz of water a day is good for you, but using four disposable bottles to do it? Not so much. Grab a reusable water bottle, and you'll be on your way to a healthy body and a healthy planet. Not to mention the money you'll save!

Our family: Bill (38 years old), Kelly (37), and Darby (3)
Homebase: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Why Do the Reuse: Finding ways to be more eco friendly is important to us. Just the other night, while hosting a gathering at the home we ended up handing out a ton of water bottles and thought, this has got to stop.
Work life: Kelly is a buyer at Urban Outfitters and Bill is an accountant.
Always on the go: Kelly commutes between NYC and Philly at least 2 to 3 times a week.
Weekends: We love going to art & cultural events.
Vacation time: Lying on the beach!
Morning routine: Darby and Kelly make spinach, carrot, and fruit smoothies together every morning. ( 3 year old Darby actually drinks them!) Bill begrudgingly drinks them but secretly he likes them.
